The Vortigaunt talking to Mike
The Vortigaunt is an alien character that first appeared in the second episode of Civil Protection; "Aliens (Part 1)", where it was asked by Dave on whether it thought "The Combine" was a dumb name for an alien race. The Vortigaunt is voiced by Ross Scott.
Character Personality[]
While Vortigaunts are usually well mannered creatures, this Vortigaunt is an exception. He may be paranoid, not just because of his Vortigaunt status, but also for the fact that he seems to be involved in some sort of illegal activity seeing that he isn't wearing the shackles that most Vortigaunts are forced to wear, meaning he could be operating with the Resistance or some other operation.

This Vortigaunt talks and acts more like a human than it's kin, speaking with a hoarse and scratchy New York City accent as opposed to the esoteric Jamaican-like accents of it's brethren.
